Shanghai Breakfast Room

The views of gardens and trees through the windows of this tall room were so beautiful that it was decided to continue the same scenery on the walls also. As the scheme was to be kept as a background on which pictures could be hung or furniture placed in front of, muted colours were used in keeping with furnishings and blinds etc. which would later be installed.

All of the landscape was painted in England and after, shipped to China where it was fitted.
