Kuwait Entrance Hall

This hallway proved quite a challenge. All the wall areas apart from the dado rail, columns and skirting board were painted on to paper to resemble inlaid marble in the studio then fitted in Kuwait.

The surrounding mouldings and wall area was painted on site. It was essential that the painted work matched in with the real marble to provide a convincing result. The cornice was also paint finished then picked out in gold leaf.
