Connecticut Dining Room

This sumptuous lacquered room needed to be balanced with an equally extravagant scheme. The wall panels and ceiling borders were first painted with arabesques then highlighted with gold leaf to create a 3D impression of carved ornamentation. All designs were painted to sheet canvas off site.
