Park Lane Drawing Room

As the fluted sections of this ceiling were concave in profile, this design could not be painted to canvas or paper off site then conveniently fitted later. Instead each section had to be hand painted from a scaffold, as were the curved lunettes and oval panels.

In the adjoining mirrored dining alcove all the glass panels were reverse painted with roses in my studio and later fitted to the ceiling and walls.
